It's a God Thing!

Today I had one of those days where I just knew what happened was "A God Thing" . . . that only an all powerful God could have orchestrated the events in my life this day!! I called my friend here and had to tell her what God did. She had been praying for me. I told the kids at dinner the situation and how God solved it. He reached in and said "I am bigger than your problem and I am going to fix it!" One person asked me "How do you think this can be explained?" One answer  . . . GOD!!! At dinner I sang "Halleujah, Halleujah; Praise Ye the Lord!"

Then tonight I got an email from my friend working on her Dr.'s degree. I love saying that! I told her I love telling people that. Maybe it makes me look more intelligent that I have an intelligent friend! Anyway, she had a similar day as mine that God orchestrated the events in her life in only a way He could do and she was singing his praises just as I was. Isn't it neat how God can work intimately in our various lives at the same time. What a mighty God we serve. She sent me the following passage:

Psalm 8

King James Version (KJV)
Lord, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;
The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.
Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

I was thankful she reminded me of this passage! PERFECT!! "What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? . . . O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!"

AMEN!!!!!!!!!
