We Had A Sighting Of A Strange Creature In Our Yard!!

Upon closer inspection we believe it to be human
and we are hoping that it is nice!:-)

C you add so much cuteness to our lives!
Who knew how much he'd love the goggles from Goodwill!

First Really Good Sledding Day Of The Season AND J's First Time Out Playing In Snow!

R leading J on his first trip out to play in snow.
G getting ready to take J down the hill on the sled.

Ahh, the joys of being a younger sibling! You get carried and get
to be given rides!

J really enjoyed it for awhile and then he just got
to cold. I don't blame him it was REALLY cold!

It's Not Easy Being a BIG brother! But J's Learning The Ropes Pretty Quick!

So glad I got these pictures of J with Baby B.
He is an AMAZING big brother. He has 3 AMAZING older brothers and an AMAZING
older sister to learn from though.

My Time At The Spa

I got quite the spa treatment! R and C (the boys) did my hair and
A and J did my feet! The boys also massaged my back and A massaged my feet and
then painted my toes!

J had his own ideas of what needed to be done! He sprayed my feet MANY times with rose scented body spray and then was working on my nose! I was actually quite relaxed by the time they were done! I was saying thank you and I heard A say "It was our pleasure." I got a sweet bunch of kiddos.
I can't even focus now days but it is ALL worth it . . . every CRAZY minute!

Oh, I even received a 50% off coupon for my next visit even though this one didn't cost me anything!:-)

B's Bad Day

B had a bad day a few weeks back. She got fitted with her harness
for her hip displasia. She was NOT a happy camper for a couple of days but eventually she got used to it! The harness is worth the discomfort because it is better than the alternative which is surgery. Yuk. She goes to the Orthopedic Dr. every 2 weeks now to get the harness adjusted. She is not quite sure about the guy who adjusts her harness every 2 weeks. She knows he talks nice but then he messes with her legs and hips and she DOESN'T like that! This last time she just about smiled at him and then broke out into a wimper like you are so mean! The nurse said to him "That is enough to give you a complex for the rest of the day!"

Soon she will also be starting physical therapy one to two times a week. She has some catching up to do to be as strong as her twin sister. It will take her awhile to completely catch up but that is ok she'll get there!

The above picture was taken the day B got her harness on and she was VERY FUSSY and exhausted. She needed ALOT of TLC and Daddy wanted so much to make his girl feel better. He spent a lot of time rocking and rocking baby B. It made him glad that he could help her relax and feel better.

Big Sissy loves her little sisters.

Jedidiah isn't bothered by the harness. He LOVES
his sisters and he loves it when he get the opportunity to hold them!!

My J

This is my little J. He is a BIG time cutie. He is also very independent and confident. The kids will say he is not afraid of the dark or cold! I've called him "Bear" sometimes because he is so strong minded.  For awhile this past fall whenever he would walk into a room he would look at whoever was in the room wave and say "Hi!" It was so cute.

When I sing him songs as I rock him he has certain songs that he recognizes . . . . like the "Joy of the Lord is my Strength . . . He fills my heart with gladness" and then he will say "ha, ha, ha" for the laughing noise. Or "I have decided to follow Jesus . . . no turning back" he will start to shake his head   "No". Or "Jesus loves the little ones like you, you, you" he'll shrug his shoulders up and start to giggle knowing that when I say "you, you, you" I'll take my finger and poke him in the chest. It is funny though if I sing a silly song where maybe I make up the words or ham up a song he DOESN'T like that and will say "DOP!" for "Stop!"

He will walk through the house calling "MMMaaa, Maaa!!" which is also very cute to hear.

Pictures From Our Back Deck

We found out my hubby is being transferred this summer to the east coast. We sure are going to miss the view from our house of Pikes Peak! Babe calls it "our mountain". When we are on a trip and coming back into the area he says "there is our mountain."

We'll miss the beauty but we are excited to see what God has for us in a new place.

"Oh, beautiful for spacious skies for amber waves of grain,
for purple mountains majesty above the fruited plain."
